High-Tech Parent

Hey, welcome to the blog. My name is KJ, I’m a Mom, and I love technology. I used to feel bad about buying pro gear to shoot home videos of my 2 little crumb-snatchers, but I am soooo over it!

This blog is for all of the parents who want to make kick ass home videos of their kids that they will be able to enjoy for decades to come. I also plan on covering a bit of photography, web design, and graphic design. Basically, if a piece of technology can be used to create something to update the grandparents or look at later after the kids have moved out – I’ll cover it here.

Here’s a little about me: I’m currently living in NYC and trying to make the most out of the scenic spots here. In order to protect the innocent, I’ve decided to give my immediate family codenames. Which is actually pretty cool, because I lost the coin toss for who got the name the kids, so finally I can call them what I wanted to name them all along.

That being said, I have a 4 year-old son I’ll call Diesel, and a 2 year-old daughter I’ll call Seven. My husband “Mr. Clean” is a film editor and we have been married for 6 years.
