Humble Pie

After getting some good feedback from the one guy that reads my blog I realized that maybe some backtracking is in order. This blog is not for the ultra rich and I understand that even $2000 is a lot for a video camera. I guess I figured that the people who read this are like me and they would rather buy an expensive camera to film their kids playing at the park than use the money and go to Disneyland for a week. So, my apologies if I sounded snooty. I just want you to have the best equipment, so that you can still watch these videos after the kids have grown up and gone to college.

That being said, I apologize for my brief haitus. I am trying to come up with some really great content that’s really useful to you. However, I am realizing that I need to lay a proper foundation first. That means I am going to be posting a lot of product reviews in the beginning. This way if you are just starting out you will know what works and what doesn’t. Besides, I can get the basic stuff out of the way in the early stages of the blog while I only have a few readers….okay I only have a “couple” of readers.

Okay, for you and those who can afford that much money. If you ask the kids when there 5 years old they would perfer to go on vacation. Yet at 1,2 yearsold they won’t remember a thing. So, I think if you wanted to take $2,000 and spent it on a camera that’s your business. No one earns your money or supports you. If you need a kidney give it to you except your own family.

Hey, thanks for the comment! Just to be clear, all I am saying is skip one trip to Disneyland to get a nice camera. After that you will have a great camera to take with you on your future trips and your kids will love you!

I can understand wanting to cherish the memories of your kids. They grow up so fast!

I can also understand Ivet saying that if you ask your kids what they want they will tell you Disney, but they would also tell me they want candy for dinner and that isn’t happening.

I think there is a balance of what’s best for them and what I want for them since I am the adult who pay all the bills, and I want to remember everything about their youth. I’m not fanatical about it, but with the new digital TV systems all the old SD video I have of my kids is going to be worthless if I can’t veiw it.

Nice idea for a blog, hope to see it grow and have much more information.
